The follow up to THIS tutorial is finished now :)
More info is written in the description of the video~
At first I thought of making a tutorial on how to convert clothes from WoW to Sims 4 as well, however there are already tutorials HERE and HERE explaining on how to convert clothes. The WoW method is no difference. You already know now how to extract a model from WoW by following these tutorials I have uploaded, so combining that with the other clothing tutorials will be more than enough to help you out in the process 💜
This will explain the very basics on how to convert an object from World of Warcraft to Sims 4 :) Keep in mind that for this method you need to have World of Warcraft installed on your computer. You don’t need a subscription, but you do have to purchase the game and expansions.
More info is written in the Youtube description of the video~
ONE TIP: if you want to follow this tutorial, I suggest you to watch the video in its entirety first. It will give you an overview of the process, so if you do start to take the steps one by one then at least you already have an indication of what you’re going to do.
The next tutorial will be more advanced, we will work with 3ds max with the intention of using more than one texture ^.^
For some reason a couple of weeks ago my laptop was suddenly able to handle HQ settings in the game. I think it had something to do with my graphics card not being up-to-date, or something..? I really have no idea what the exact reason was ._. However, now that HQ does work for me, my future creations will all be made on HQ textures - meaning that they will be HQ compatible :)
The reason I didn’t want to use HQ textures before is that I would have never been able to test it in-game to see how it looks in its full quality, so I preferred to stick to the ’’normal/original’’ textures.
For people who do not fancy the HQ mod and would like to have the textures in a smaller size, this handy tool can convert HQ textures to non-HQ textures as well :D
With this said, my new cc will be HQ compatible, but I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll use it other than for cc creating. Using it for story-telling might be a bit overkill. I’ll be able to make a better decision in the future once I upgrade to a desktop pc~
Thank you for reading ^-^ 💜

Once in a while I go through the massive post editor to remove old and redundant posts - and now I just so happened to have accidentally selected the last post along with it, which was an important anon ask :|
@ the anon who asked about the WoW conversion tutorial;Â
In short: I might consider making a brief overview in the near future to show my way of extracting WoW models (which requires you to have the game installed, so yes purchased, and you need WoW Model Viewer). Though, there are already a couple of tutorials showing how to convert models from other games to sims 4, so perhaps you’ll be able to achieve what you want through these tutorials as those helped me to get started~
A little insight: when you open WMV (wowmodelviewer) you export the file as either FBX or OBJ. For me FBX worked best when editing models in 3ds max. If you import it directly into blender then the OBJ file may be fine too (you can experiment with what works for you). From there on you start editing the model (size, uvw, etc.) to your liking. If you don’t know how to edit meshes in blender then there are plenty of tutorials explaining the basics of this on Sims 4 Studio.
I also recommend checking out this amazingly organized tutorial page set up by simlaughlove ♥
Lastly, these tutorials helped me enormously when I first started out with converting models:
Thank you! *-* That’s really kind of you 💜
I quickly made a GIF to show the before and after result~

Rules: List any seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your Tumblr along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to.
I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I saw @plazasims do this and felt like doing it as well. I fancy song tags :3
Since I wasn’t tagged by anyone, I leave it open for anyone who just like me feels like doing it 💜
